We offer structured Driving Lessons in a Mini Cooper following the DSA syllabus to all stages of drivers, be they anxious beginners, or qualified drivers in need of Refresher Lessons.

The average number of lessons needed to reach the required standard to pass the Practical Driving Test as quoted by the DSA is 45 hours with an ADI, plus 20 hours practice with friends or family. Often it can take a lot less, depending on the pupils' willingness to learn and natural aptitude. On average, I find most people require 25 to 30 lessons, although some previous pupils have passed with fewer than 20 lessons.

Lesson Prices start at £12 for an introductory lesson for beginners who have no previous driving experience, to £27per hour for Pass Plus and Refresher lessons. Standard Lesson price is £25 per hour. Block bookings are available at a discounted rate of £23 per hour (12 lessons minimum).

 All lessons are on a 'door to door' basis and you are guaranteed to receive a full hours individual tuition. Some driving schools book shared lessons with multiple pupils where you spend some of your lesson observing. This is not recognised by the DSA as a good practice. Driving is a physical skill, you learn to drive by driving, not watching!
